Bally Chohan Cricket – Salman Butt is Pakistani captain now

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that Salman Butt has been appointed as captain of Pakistan cricket team in place of Shahid Afridi Salman Butt will take charge of Pakistani cricket team for next week’s second and final test against Australia. Second test between Australia and England will be played at Headingley, England.

Pakistan cricket board has appointed Salman Butt as captain for the upcoming test series against England also. The four test match series against England will start later this month. The first test match of the series will be played at Trent Bridge on 29th July 2010.

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that Shahid Afridi informed Pakistani Cricket Board that he is no longer interested to lead Pakistan team in test matches. Shahid Afridi also suggested name of Salman Butt as Pakistan cricket team captain. Pakistan cricket board appointed Salman Butt as capital for next five test matches and also appointed Kamran Akmal as his deputy.  Australia defeated Pakistan by 150 runs in the first test match of the series between Australia and Pakistan.  Salman Butt was the top scorer from Pakistani side scoring 63 and 92 runs respectively in both innings. Shahid Afridi while addressing post match press conference informed media persons that Salman Butt is the best choice for Pakistan to take over captaincy from him.

Shahid Afridi informed media persons that he is very much impressed by the maturity shown by Salman Butt.  Salman Butt will be Pakistan cricket team’s seventh captain in three years.

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that Pakistani cricket team fans and media were taken aback by the sudden decision of Shahid Afridi to quit as captain of Pakistani cricket test team. However the Pakistani cricket team manager has appreciated Shahid Afridi for his decision since the decision is based on truth.
