Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) congratulates Muttiah Muralitharan on becoming first cricketer in the history of test cricket to take 800 test wickets. His 800th wicket was that of Pragyan Ojha, on the last day of first test match against India at Galle, Srilanka.

Before the start of his final test match Muttiah Muralitharan needed eight more wickets to reach tally of 800 test wickets in test cricket, the feat no one has achieved before. As updated Muttiah Muralitharan has already announced his retirement from Test Cricket post first test match against India at Galle.

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) feels that Muttiah Muralitharan started his run to 800 wickets in a style with the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar. His tally of 5 for 63 in the first innings played major role in deciding first test match of the series in favour of Srilanka.
It started to look as if Lasith Malinga will deny Muttiah Muralitharan chance of reaching the magic figure of 800 wickets. Muttiah Muralitharan struck back and took three wickets in the second innings to the delight of everyone in Srilanka.
