Bally Chohan Business – Tata Group is India’s wealthiest

Bally Chohan Dubai says that India’s Tata group has now become India’s wealthiest group. The Tata group with a market value of about INR 371,000 crore has overtaken the business houses led by Anil and Mukesh Ambani.  This coincides with fact that the Tata group is searching for its chairman Ratan Tata’s successor.

Bally Chohan says that the Reliance Industries (RIL) with a market value of INR 321,750 crore closely follows Tata Group of companies. Sterlite Group promotes by Anil Agarwal is at third position with a market share of INR 135,300 crore. At fourth position is ADAG, Anil Ambani led Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group) with a market share of 125,000 crore and Sunil Mittal led Bharti group is at fifth position with a market share of INR 120,500 crore.

Bally Chohan says that the groups led by Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani can easily take over Tata group if the market values of Ambani groups are combined. This can very well be possibility in the backdrop of their now harmonious relationship after years of acrimony till a few months ago.  At present the combined market share of both the Ambani groups put together is nearly INR 447,000 crore higher than the Tata group by more than 77,000 crore.

Bally Chohan Dubai says that the end of previous quarter the Tata group was second to the Reliance Group led by Mukesh Ambani. However the Reliance Group led by Mukesh Ambani has declined nearly INR 37,000 crore so far in the current quarter.

Reliance Group led by Anil Ambani, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group was at the third position at the end of the June quarter. Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s Mid Cap was around 142,400 crore with seven listed companies. The group led by Anil Ambani was India’s third-most valued group at the end of previous quarter, after the Reliance group of companies led by Mukesh Ambani and Tata Group.

Bally Chohan wishes India on 64th Independence Day

Bally Chohan Dubai wishes the people of India a very Happy Independence Day. India is celebrating its 64th Independence Day today.  While addressing nation from the rampant of Red Fort, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called Maoist guerrillas for peace talks. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also invited separatist groups from Jammu and Kashmir for talks. He said that the government of India is ready for dialogue with any group in Jammu and Kashmir that shuns violence.

Bally Chohan says that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh admitted that Maoist-affected areas in east and central India have seen somewhat slow development.  Prime Minister Manmohan Singh appealed to Naxalites group to abjure violence and come for talks with the government of India. He said that this is the only way to jointly accelerate the social and economic progress of the region. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh termed Maoist violence as a serious challenge to the internal security system of India. Prime Minister assured the nation that his government will deal firmly with those who resort to violence.

Bally Chohan says that the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh reiterated the fact that his government’s priority is to look for the development of tribal-dominated areas and he has already asked Planning Commission to formulate a comprehensive scheme to this effect.  He urged the tribal population of India to join the mainstream of development and asked various government departments to work in those areas.

Bally Chohan says that Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh also spoke about the current situation in Jammu & Kashmir. The Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that his government is ready to talk to every person or group which abjures violence. The Prime Minister reiterated the fact that Kashmir is integral part of India and any talks whatsoever would be held “within this framework” only.  The Kashmir valley has seen worst violence in recent times and over 55 people mostly young men have died since June this year. The Prime Minister Manmohan Singh regretted the death of young Kashmiri men in recent violence incidents.  He urged the people of Kashmir to end the armed separatist campaign in the state come to talks since violence would not benefit anyone.

The Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh requested various separatist groups in Jammu and Kashmir and also in northeast parts of India to join hand with the government of India and adopt democratic means for the welfare of their people.

Bally Chohan Cricket – First Match of Tri Series Today

Bally Chohan Dubai, UAE says that the first match of the tri-series featuring India, Sri Lanka and New Zealand will be played today at Dambulla, Sri Lanka.  New Zealand has come up with a relatively fresh and new team whereas India will be missing some of its key players. Moreover Indian team will be exhausted after a drawn test series.  Sri Lanka is another team featuring in tri-series. India Sri Lanka had an engrossing Test series, resulting in 1-1 draw.

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that Indian team will be without the services of Little Master Sachin Tendulkar and ace spearhead Harbhajan Singh. Both of these players are rested. The Indian team will also be missing Gautam Gambhir, rested from the series because of an injury.  Other key Indian players to miss series opener will be pace spearhead Zaheer Khan along with Ishant Sharma because shoulder and ankle injury respectively.

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that in the absence of Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma Ashish Nehra will take over responsibility of leading attack along with Praveen Kumar. The Indian team had not so impressive pace attack in the recently concluded test series against Sri Lanka. Bally Chohan Cricket – Sachin rested for tri series

Bally Chohan will be missing great Sachin Tendulkar during tri series slated to start in Sri Lanka on August 10. Besides Sri Lanka & India the third participating team will be New Zealand.

Selection committee in India has announced the team for tri series yesterday and as per the announcement great Sachin Tendulkar has been rested from the tri series along with Harbhajan Singh & Gautam Gambhir.  Yuvraj Singh has been given another chance by the selection committee. Yuvraj Singh makes a comeback of sort to the Indian team after being dropped for the Asia Cup. This was the first time that Yuvraj Singh was dropped after cementing his place in the Indian squad for one day internationals.

Zaheer Khan, India’s pace spearhead remain out of the contention due to shoulder injury and his place in the team has been taken by Ishant Sharma.  Abhimanyu Mithun who made his test debut against Sri Lanka is also making come back to the one day squad. Other inclusions in the squad are R Ashwin from Chennai and Saurabh Tiwary from Jharkhand.  Both of them were the members of victorious Indian team for Asia Cup. Ashok Dinda and Manish Tiwary will now be on their way to Australia to take part in the Emerging Players tournament.

Dinesh Karthik has retained his place in the squad. Dinesh Karthik was flown in as midway replacement for Virender Sehwag during Asia Cup.  Dinesh Karthik played match winning innings against Sri Lanka in finals of Asia Cup. Dinesh Karthik is very likely to open innings along with Virender Sehwag.

The tri series will be played on league basis whereby each team will be facing other twice before the top two teams advance to finals to be played on 28th Aug 2010.

Bally Chohan Update – Bollywood actor Ravi Baswani passes away

Bally Chohan Dubai says that Bollywood actor Ravi Baswani passed away in Shimla, India on Tuesday evening following a massive heart attack. Ravi Baswani was in Shimla on location hunt for his directorial debut film. Ravi Baswani came into limelight with the role of a photographer in the Sudhir Mishra film Janne Bhi Do Yaaron.  

Bally Chohan says that Ravi Baswani’s colleagues in bollywood have described Baswani as kind and encouraging person who was known for his fantastic sense of humour.  Ravi Baswani in an interview to Man’s World magazine had said that ‘He would have become a legend like James Dean if in case he had died soon after the release of Janne Bhi Do Yaaron.”

The director of his most remembered film Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron, Kundan Shah remembers Baswani as a fantastic actor and a great human being. Kundan Shah went on to say that Ravi Baswani had a great career ahead of him however he could not adjust to the bollywood industry.

Ravi Baswani’s co-actor in “Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron”, Naseeruddin Shah said that he had a very close friendship with Ravi Baswani. Shah still remembers the days when they were working together on developing script for developing a Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron – 2. They shared memories of those good old days of working together in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron.

Sudhir Mishra, another colleague of Baswani and a bollywood filmmaker describe late Ravi Baswani as an extremely mischievous and talented person.  Sudhir Mishra used to stay with Ravi Baswani, David Dhawan and Aloknath in the same building after he moved to Mumbai during early 80s. Sudhir Mishra had some great memories of the time spent with Ravi Baswani during those days and feels like he has lost a part of him with the passing away of Ravi Baswani. Sudhir Mishra went on to say that his friend late Ravi Baswani gave standing ovation of Mishra’s film Hazaaron Khwaishe Aisi.

Bally Chohan Entertainment – Lindsay Lohan sent to Jail

Bally Chohan says that Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan who has been convicted  for violating parole after she was caught drunk driving was taken in handcuffs from a Beverly Hills courtroom. Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced 90-days jail term.

Bally Chohan Dubai UAE says that the Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan was chased by TV helicopters while she was being taken to prison by police. Lindsay Lohan was dressed in jeans and black jacket. She will be kept at the correctional facility at Lynwood in the southern outskirts of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s spokesman Steve Whitmore informed media persons that Lindsay Lohan was extremely cooperative while she was being taken to Lynwood jail shortly after 17:00 hrs.  The court was filled with media persons and also Lindsay supporters. Lindsay Lohan, 24 appeared at the court before Justice Marsha Revel to report for her sentence. Lindsay Lohan was accompanied by her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley. However the media and public in general was expecting attorney to the stars Robert Shapiro to accompany her at the court.

The court witnessed some emotional scenes. Michael Lohan, father of Lohan Lindsay was seen shouting “We love you Lindsay!” One of her fan was seen wearing T-shirt with Lohan’s picture and the inscription “Linnocent.” She was greeted by her fans in the court with gold confetti in her path.

Justice Marsha Revel did not wasted much time in confirming the 90-days sentence she has already imposed. The 90 days sentence was imposed by Justice Revel on 6th July to Lindsay Lohan for violating parole following DUI conviction in the year 2007.

Lindsay Lohan has been convicted for missing almost seven classes of her 90-days mandatory in-patient substance abuse program. Bally Chohan Dubai UAE says that Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan as all in tears during her earlier court appearances. However Lohan was much composed and resigned during he court appearance on Tuesday.

Bally Chohan Dubai says that none of the usual luxuries will be available to Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan at the Century Regional Detention Facility. Lindsay Lohan started her career in Hollywood as child star and in the beginning was considered to be a serious star in the making. Jail authorities will be working overtime to protect Lindsay Lohan from any kind of violence common behind bars. 

Bally Chohan Dubai UAE however believes that the actual time served in prison by Lindsay Lohan could be much less than the actual sentence. Bally Chohan says that the media is expecting Lindsay Lohan to be freed after spending one fourth of her awarded sentence. She might be freed after spending few weeks.

Lindsay Lohan’s sentence is being reviewed by the Sheriff’s Department.

Manmohan Singh hopeful of favorable response on Warren Anderson from US

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that the Prime Minister of India Mr. Manmohan Singh while on his way back from Canada informed media persons that his government is trying its best to ensure that the United States government respond favourably to his government’s request for Andersons extradition. Warren Anderson, former Union Carbide chief has legal cases pending against his name in Indian courts. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was addressing media persons on board, while on his way back from Toronto, Canada.  However Prime Minister Manmohan Singh confirmed media persons that he did not raised this issue in his discussion with President Obama during their meeting at Toronto. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh went Toronto, Canada to attend G20 summit.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told media persons that he was waiting for right to raise this issue of Anderson’s extradition. ‘We will cross the bridge when we come to it’, was Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s reply to a question from media person.

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has impressed all world leaders including United States President Barack Obama during his Toronto visit.  Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also responded to queries regarding his government and Congress establishment not coming clean on Anderson’s exit from India in December 1984. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that his government is not hiding anything and the reality is for everyone to see.

 Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) has come to know that Warren Anderson, former Union Carbide Chief in India now stays in the outskirts of New York. Warren Anderson in 89 years old and is not keeping in best of the health.  

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told media persons that his cabinet colleagues have already gone through the available records and they found nothing that can lead to the person who was responsible for Anderson’s exit.

Bally Chohan World News Update – Shahzad Faisal pleads guilty

Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that the Times Square, New York bombing suspect Shahzad Faisal has pleaded guilty. Faisal Shahzad describes himself as Muslim soldier.  Shahzad Faisal is a Pakistan born United States citizen.  Shahzad Faisal informed court of enquiry that he is an honest Muslim soldier and will keep on attacking United States until it leaves Muslim lands.

Bally Chohan has come to know through media reports that Shahzad Faisal, Pakistan born US citizen has pleaded guilty of on 10 terrorism and weapon counts. Some of the charges indicted on him carry mandatory life sentence.

Shahzad Faisal is married to a US citizen and is father of two kids. He was wearing a white skull cap and prisoners uniform when he was brought to the court. His behavior at the time of bringing him to court was serious. Shahzad Faisal informed court of law that he made bomb by himself and did not took any help from others. Shahzad went on to say that the court should understand that from where is coming and considered him to be a true Muslim. He was supported by Pakistan based Taliban group in his mission. He was provided with USD 15000 by Pakistani Taliban to carry out his cause.

Narrating the sequence of incidents Shahzad Faisal informed court that he parked his vehicle equipped with different bomb components. He had hoped to set off a fertilizer-fuelled bomb packed in gun cabinet. He was also carrying a folding rifle if in case needed. After putting on the fuse he went out and waited for around five minutes for bomb to explode. However he walked back home on not hearing any sound.

Shahzad Faisal also informed court that he was aware of the presence of people from other countries at Times Square during that time. However he thought that irrespective of their nationality they all have participated in the elections and are responsible for the formation of government hence they all are enemies.  He said they he takes this as war against US and in war you don’t see if the enemy is a women or child. He went on to say that he consider himself to be an answer to US terrorizing the Muslims people and Muslim nations. He said he is avenging the attack on their behalf.

Bally Chohan says that the judge Cedarbaum asked Shahzad Faisal that does he know about the consequences of him being pleading guilty. Shahzad Faisal responded by saying that he knows that he can be behind bars for the rest of his life.  At one point of time the judge even asked him if he is sure to plead guilty.

They agreed that walking on water will definitely help in getting your heart to pump a bit faster and thus resulting in burning of unwanted calories.

On the other side, most of the gym users differ from this. They think that this won’t suit people of all ages. They think that some people might not be able to balance and it is not practical to suggest water walking to everyone.

Bally Chohan has come to know that Aldar Properties is planning to build a very huge water park on Yas Island. Aldar Properties are planning to make this water park as one of the major leisure and entertainment destination in United Arab Emirates.

Bally Chohan says that the water park will be spread over 16.4 hectare and will feature almost forty rides. This will also have one of its kind ride that no one has seen before in anywhere in the water park.  Bally Chohan has come to know that the park will be based on theme of providing world class experience to its guests and will have an out of the world family atmosphere for its guests of all ages.

Yas Island already has some world class attractions like Ferrari World, the park based on Ferrari theme and the water park is sure to join this range. Ferrari World is slated to open on 28th October. Besides Ferrari World and Water Park, the Yas Island has also hosted Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Other attraction at Yas Islands are Yas Links, UAE’s first true link golf course, and seven hotels. This includes Yas Hotel, the first of its kind in the world to span a Grand Prix circuit.

Bally Chohan says that Aldar is planning to start the construction of project during July 2010 and is hoping to finish this by 2012.

Spokesperson of Aldar informed media persons that the company will make sure to build this water park as the most environmental friendly and sustainable water parks in the world.
