Bally Chohan Dubai (UAE) says that Spain and Germany are all set to clash for a heavyweight World Cum semifinals. German defeated Argentina with a convincing margin of 4-0 whereas Spain edged pass Paraguay 1-0. Germany played Argentina in their quarter final game at Cape Town while Spain took on Paraguay at Johannesburg.
Miroslav Klose from Germany scored twice whereas David Villa scored his fifth goal of the tournament to help Germany crush Argentina 4-0 in the third quarterfinals of FIFA World Cup 2010. In the other and last quarter finals of the tournament played at Johannesburg Spain edge pass Paraguay 1-0.
German and Spain clashed earlier in 2008 in the finals of Euro 2008. Spain had beaten Germany during that time. In other semifinals Netherlands will take on Uruguay in Cape Town.
Earlier yesterday German beat Argentina 4-0. From German side the goals were scored twice by their veteran striker Klose and one goal each was scored by midfielder Thomas Mueller and defender Arne Friedrich. Argentina coach legendry footballer Diego Maradona was so upset by the defeat that he told media persons that he was considering his future. He told media persons that he will take final decision on his future commitment after consulting relatives, friends and team mates.
