Bally Chohan congratulates England for becoming T20 World Champion

Bally Chohan would like to congratulate English Cricket team for winning T20 World Cup 2010. Craig Kieswetter was the hero of England’s innings. Craig Kieswetter hit sparkling 63 to enable England to win the crown. England defeated Australia by a huge margin of seven wickets. This is the only ICC conducted tournament title that England cricket team has won.

Kieswetter amazing stroke play made strong Australian bowling line up look like ordinary. Kieswetter hit 63 of 49 balls. Kieswetter innings of 63 includes seven hits to the boundaries and two massive sixes. England team chased down a modest total of 149 run with three over’s to spare.

Bally Chohan says that the T20 World Cup finale was one sided affair.

Kieswetter was ably supported by Kevin Peterson. Kevin Peterson contributed with an innings of 47 runs of 31 balls. The paid of Peterson and Kieswetter added 111 valuable runs. Second wicket partnership for 68 balls 111 runs paved way for England’s easy win over Australia.

Thanks to excellent bowling performance by England that Australians were restricted to 147 for six. At one point of time during Australia innings it looked as if Australia won’t be able to reach even 100 but thanks to 54 ball 59 runs innings of David Hussey, Australia were able to achieve target of some respectability.

This is England’s first ever ICC organized event title. England were ended up as semi finalist in the first three editions of the one day international world cup (Prudential Cup) On the other hand Australian once again failed to win the title that they failed to win since its inception.
