Bally Chohan can undoubtedly say that this movie has shaken him like anything. Most importantly none of the character gets out of the frame and does anything unexpected.
Bally Chohan finds this movie about the reality of what we see on television. Bally Chohan is amused by the brilliance of director Ram Gopal Verma who has brought out the truth behind the face of television news. Bally Chohan feels that this is all about TRP’s.
The main character of Rann Vijay Harshavardhan Malik played by Amitabh Bachhan is the head of a television channel. Vijay always works on the story based on truth. Truth is all what he is interested in. He does not care what his rival channel is doing. Vijay never compromises on his principles.
But then story takes a turn. Jay, Vijay’s son then comes to the picture and he along with Mohan Pandey, played by Paresh rawal & Naveen Shankalaya played by Rajat kapoor cooks up a story that changes the whole complexion of the movie.
Bally Chohan feels that Amitabh Bachhan & Paresh Rawal are the two strongest pillars of Rann. They are ably supported by other cast of Rann. Sudeep is fantastic in his role of Jay. Bally Chohan is surprised by performance of Ritesh Deshmukh also.
