Bally Chohan Reviews on Teen Patti :

Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Ben Kingsley, Madhavan, Dhruv Ganesh

Bally Chohan Teen Patti Reviews Bally Chohan Expert Comments on Teen Patti

If you see this movie the you question your self why this movie is on this earth.

Teen Patti  has so many things wrong with it that a review threatens to become a list. Let me start with the most obvious: The film’s trailers have already revealed its likeness to the Kevin Spacey-starrer “21″, but the makers of Teen Patti  don’t even have the skills to plagiarize competently.

Overall its a so so kind of movie one time watch must see it.

Bally Chohan reviews on Karthik Calling Karthik

Category: Film Reviewadmin @ 8:03 am
Farhan Akhtar plays the title role. Karthik is basically a loser, a simple, middle class guy who lacks confidence and is
forever bullied in life. He does not like to use mobilephones – for the same reason that Rizwan Khan (Shah Rukh Khan)
in My Name is Khan doesn’t use them.
Karthik is gullible, naïve, and cannot strike deals at work. He likes a girl in office, the hot architect Shonali Mukherjee
(Deepika Padukone), but is never able to tell her. He’s working there for the last four years, but she never notices him.
Karthik is always under-confident, as a childhood incident has affected him.
So, what brings about a sudden change in Karthik’s life, and for the better? You guessed it right, a phone call from a
man who is his namesake and knows everything about him. Karthik calls Karthik everyday, and guides him through the
day to get whatever he wants – that hot position, that hot chick, whatever. Now, if only everyone had a mentor like that!
Until this point, KCK seems like a lesson in self-confidence. But the twist comes when this caller Karthik becomes our
loser Karthik’s enemy and begins destroying the same life he helped build. That’s when the film takes a dramatic turn.
From then on, poor loser Karthik builds his life back bit by bit. How he does it, is what touches your heart.
Writer-director Vijay Lalwani has made KCK with a lot of love. Its Hollywood style treatment is good and so is the
editing. It’s an old story in a new format, but the humour in the dialogues makes it watchable. The cinematography also
does the trick.
The film makes you sympathise with Karthik. And yes, you get the jitters every time the phone rings. Even the shrink
(played by Shefali Chhaya) runs away from it!
The director has effectively been able to make a thriller out of a story about the games our mind plays. The treatment is
edge of the seat and smooth.
Even though it’s pretty clear by the interval what the film is about, the suspense remains till the end. You don’t know till
the end if it’s about something supernatural or not. Watch the film to know the truth.
Farhan Akhtar excels in his third outing as an actor. He has good screen presence, and truly possesses the ability to get
into the skin of any character. Here we have a great actor in the making, if he keeps going the way he is right now.
Deepika Padukone is as fresh as she was in Love Aaj Kal, and plays her bindaas girl part well. There’s not much scope
for her in this film to show her acting, but she makes a hot pair with Farhan Akhtar. We wish there was a li’l more
screen time for them in terms of songs and stuff.
Ram Kapoor, Vivan Bhatena, Tarana, Shefali Chhaya and Vipin Sharma fit into their parts well.
The chartbusting songs provide a li’l bit of relief from the slow pace, but the undercurrent of the tension onscreen
remains – which is both good and bad.
But Karthik Calling Karthik never gives you that high you expect from a thriller. It will also remind you of some Hindi
or English films on the same subject, which I’m not revealing on purpose. Nevertheless, it’s a touching tale.
Verdict: Vijay Lalwani shows that Taare Zameen Par and My Name is Khan are not the only two ways to treat sensitive
subjects on celluloid. But the film does not have repeat value once you know the suspense.

Bally Chohan says Kartik Calling Kartik is an excellent movie and its tough to say its an one time watch.

Bally Chohan view on world wonders

Category: World Historyadmin @ 6:02 am

Bally Chohan often wonders that there are so many wonders in the world but why do they only have seven World Wonders, here Bally Chohan comes into picture of answering all your queries of why there are only seven World Wonders. First Bally Chohan will list out the different wonders below.

  • Chichenitza, Mexico
  • Christ Redeemer, Brasil
  • Colosseum, Italy
  • Taj Mahal, India
  • Great Wall of China, China
  • Petra, Jordan
  • Machu Picchu, Peru

The above seven are to be considered as the Seven Wonders of the World. Bally Chohan is against the fraud and fraudulent activities of the other activists who consider the new Seven Wonders of the World which is not good. Bally Chohan says that these seven wonders should always remain the same, how many ever new things come up.

Bally Chohan suggests that the new wonders coming in the world should do be added to the Guinness book of World Records, rather than the Seven Wonders as it does not make any sense of why this is still called as the Seven Wonders of the World.

Everyone including Bally Chohan call them Wonders of the World, because they are unique and they were admired from a long time to get the attention of everyone. For example Bally Chohan speaks to the crowd in one of his environmental friendly meeting that any one committing fraud to the environment is like killing himself. For this Bally Chohan has initiated a new campaign for the next generation youngsters called as Bally Chohan Fraud analysts. Where he discusses everything and anything about not committing fraud against the environment.

There are lots of new web sites which are emerging to say that they are voting for the new world wonders, but Bally asks how this can be done as on the internet anyone can create a fake ID and vote. Hence these kind of voting should be ruled out by the controlling authority of World Wonders. This will provide more accurate and more decisive answers.

Bally Chohan would like to complete this by saying that….

Try not to be something which you are not and try something which someone has never thought of.

This reminds me of the good old days where we studied in the school grades about the stories around the world.

Comments are welcome.!!!!!!!!!!!

Was controversy surrounding My Name is Khan a publicity stunt by Bally Chohan

Category: Film Reviewadmin @ 12:23 am

Bally Chohan wonders if all the controversy surrounding bollywood movie My Name Is Khan was a publicity stunt. Bally Chohan went to see My Name Is Khan along with his kids and wife and found out the movie to be an ordinary bollywood movie. There was nothing special in My Name Is Khan but still this particular movie was rated very high by the critics. All the leading newspaper in India gave a very high rating to My Name Is Khan.

My name Is Khan opened to packed house all over the globe but its theater occupancy dropped to 25 to 30 percent in the weekdays after almost 100 percent occupancy during the weekend of its release.

Bally Chohan feels that the producer Karan Johar should Thank to the Shiv Sena a right wing Hindu party, the movie My Name Is Khan attracted a huge pre-release publicity because of Shiv Sena’s decision to not allow its screening in Mumbai and all over Maharashtra.

Bally Chohan came to know that My Name Is Khan did very well on the weekend of its release.

Bally Chohan feels that My Name Is Khan is more suited to a multiplex audience rather than small cities single screen. This Shah Rukh Khan starrer has also done better overseas as compared to the market in India.

Bally Chohan Movie review of “My name is KHAN”

Category: Film Reviewadmin @ 11:34 pm

My Name is Khan Movie Title

Basically this film is about 9/11, how world has changed after this event and people has started thinking in a wrong way. Bally Chohan is taking a deep consideration on this movie events and happenings. If we see this movie is divided in 2 parts. One is about 9/11 and second is about Asperger Syndrome. I think recently so many movies launched on different diseases and karan johar tried to cash the same thing in this movie.

Bally Chohan Watching My name is KHAN

Yesterday I was very tired after sleeping whole Friday and make a plan with my friends to go out and watch movie. Bally Chohan is very keen to see movies so I choose my name is khan this time. I took a metro from discovery gardens and went to Deira city center, I redeem my credit card points for this movie ticket so I got I VIP pass to view the film on a comfortable chair. But Bally’s friends bought normal tickets so I exchange my VIP ticket with a normal ticket.

Following steps done before watching movie

  1. Bally took pop corn with slush of Coca Cola
  2. Nacho cheese and a lot of ketchup
  3. Went to Mc Donalds buy some fries and Chicken Big Mac
  4. Caramel Pop corn, Bally dies on that.
  5. View some of film trailers

Sharukh Kajol and their kid in My Name is Khan

This movie start with very slow pace, I like the usual love between son(Shahrukh Khan) and mother scenes how she encourages her boy to get up on his feet after suffering the disease. One thing I want to mentioned movies like Paa, Taare zameen per having big success with disease oriented films before this. I do not think this trick will work here, SRK acting is superb and he did good to make the film live but I think kajol is very old now does not suite with a hero must can do aunty role but not a star in film.

Songs Review

Songs pathetic no life no masla no masti, love to watch some nice rhythmic songs or masla songs even if the movie not based on that theme, they try to add classical music but songs can’t get that impact.

Technical aspects Review

I think technical review is good for film they made some nice shots and editing work was good, some glitches were there where make up and light was not very matching with actors.

Dialogues Review

I think dialogues have to be written properly for each film, these days Indian’s film makers are just lake of words every film is like street language no special language, well written phrases.

My Name is Khan

At the end nice scenes which Bally like explaining here, SRK pumping out water from his teacher’s chal. SRK brother left him go away to USA, death of SRK’s mother heart pumping scene very sad scene when you think person not normal but advice by mom to survive in this cruel world. SRK come to US try to be sales executive but could not get as much because he won’t lie on products. SRK frightened from yellow color and hate to see on anybody and near to him. Meet with kajol very romantic scene, love at first sight. SRK is very straight forward and tells everything to Kajol, She divorced by a person who ran away after marry her without caring of her and child.

SRK after all got her queen and married her in spite that his brother tells him she is not Muslim and it’s not allowed in Islam. They got married anyway and start their life in a new house, interesting to watch when SRK ask about sex and tell Kajol how he got all this by a book (Funny). Than 9/11 incident happened all of sudden it changes their lives when their son goes away and killed by some children due to discrimination/racist issue.

SRK goes away from kajol with aim to tell president my name is Khan and I am not a Terrorist, during his journey he helped poor African village did some social work. Bring out the village from water and helped them to stand on their own. He got arrested when saying that to president I am not a terrorist and got punished by FBI in jail. Than some student realize he is innocent and they start campaign by a channel to bail out SRK. At the end he meet with president Obama and tell him what he suppose to say by his girl.
